Helsinki Walking Tour With a Sociologist

Overview

Discover Helsinki on a 3-hour small-group walking tour with a local guide and PhD researcher in Sociology. Instead of only visiting the main tourist sights, learn about Helsinki through its history, culture, people, and everyday life. Visit well-known places as well as lesser-known spots, and hear the stories behind them. Where possible, we will also go inside selected buildings and places that you would normally only see from the outside. This gives you a chance to see more of Helsinki and learn how its buildings and public spaces are connected to Finnish history and society. The small-group format makes the tour more personal and gives you more time to ask questions and talk about the places you visit. This is a good choice if you want to learn about Helsinki not only as a visitor, but also through its culture and society.
