From Kemi: Icebreaker Arktis Cruise with icefloating program

Overview

Your experience begins with a choice of pickup from selected locations in central Kemi or direct arrival at the main building, where a large free parking area is available. After check‑in you have time to visit the area before the included transfer brings you to Kemi Harbor to board the Icebreaker Arktis. During the Icebreaker cruise, you can move between two heated indoor decks. The ship travels through the frozen waters Bothnian Bay, providing continuous views of the ice and sea through wide observation windows. Throughout the three hours on board, you can watch the icebreaker operate. Cruise will take a short stop in middle of frozen sea where you can walk on solid ice (ice conditions permitting) and float guidedly in icy water wearing a thermal survival suit. After the cruise, the return transfer takes you back to the main building and drop off locations.
